It’s location next to the magnificent Antwerp Central Station guarantees easy accessibility by public transport, with train, tram, and bus stops within walking distance. The plenary sessions will take place in the beautiful Queen Elisabeth Hall of the convention center, home to the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
The Convention Center is also part of the zoo foundation for animal welfare, nature conservation and science. As one of the oldest and most famous zoological gardens in Europe, congress delegates are welcome to visit.

How to get there
You can easily get to Antwerp by train. connected directly to the rest of Europe with high-speed rail links (Thalys and Eurostar). From here you can reach the convention center within minutes.
Several airlines operate direct flights from major European airports to Brussels International airport.
The Airport is situated approximately 45 km south of Antwerp city centre and it has regular flight connections to numerous European destinations, as well as destinations outside of Europe.

The FMCCA is situated in a low emission zone (LEZ) which the city of Antwerp is reinforcing as of 1 February 2017 to enhance air quality. From then on, the most polluting vehicles will be banned from the city centre. Use the online test to see if your car is allowed to enter the zone and demand a temporary permit or day pass if need be.
